In 1975 Fullerton House played in the Ulster Mini Rugby Championship, having qualified by winning the Belfast Area Tournament.
The Finals were played at Ravenhill on Saturday 21st June 1975.
A Squad of 12 players (see above) from P7 were selected and Fullerton House were coached by Mr Roy Topping and supported by the new Principal, Mr Frazer Thompson. Mr David Wells had coached a few sessions with the team before the Finals, to fine tune the team.
Fullerton House progressed unbeaten through the pool stage semi finals to meet Benson House (Wallace High School Prep) in the Final.
It was a draw at full time and so moved into sudden death extra time. After a tense few minutes, Stuart Robinson intercepted a pass and glided in to score the winning try for Fullerton House !
All of the players went on to Methody and played rugby including in the Medallion Shield and Schools Cup.
The 50th anniversary of the victory by Fullerton House was celebrated on 21st June 2025 with a reunion at Ravenhill and Methody with the Squad retracing their steps and reliving the great memories of 50 years ago.
