More than 80 former pupils of Methodist College Belfast gathered in McArthur Hall over the Christmas and New Year period for the inaugural Christmas Connections event hosted by Methody Collegians. Spanning generations, alumni from across the decades came together in the warm and welcoming setting of their former school to reconnect, reminisce, and forge new friendships.
The festive event offered Collegians a chance to reflect on their shared history while also looking to the future, as older and younger alumni exchanged stories, experiences, and professional insights. From recent leavers to long-established members of the Methody community, the evening embodied the enduring spirit of camaraderie that defines the Collegians network.
The recently renovated McArthur Hall provided the perfect backdrop for this lively and heartwarming reunion. The success of the evening highlighted the strong sense of belonging that continues to unite former pupils long after their school days have ended.
As new connections were made and old ones rekindled, the Christmas Connections event once again demonstrated the strength and vibrancy of the Methody alumni community and this will now be a permanent fixture in the Methody Collegians calendar.
