Donation to the Principal’s Discretionary Fund
Presentation of £827.70 to the school.
At our Annual Dinner on 20 September, we were delighted to raise £827.70 from the sale of our raffle tickets on the night. Thank you to our guests for their generosity in purchasing these.
This fundraising was for the school and goes towards the Principal’s Discretionary Fund which allows pupils to fully enjoy all opportunities offered by the Methody experience. It is important to the Council that we are able to make regular financial contributions to the school.
We would like to thank those who donated prizes: Shu Restaurant and Villa Italia for donating restaurant vouchers and Jennifer Willis Photography for donating one of her pieces. Thanks to those Council Members who also donated prizes including: Ulster Rugby tickets, tickets to a show in the Waterfront Hall, some bottles of gin, prosecco and whiskey and some locally produced honey.
Judith Cochrane, our President, presented this cheque to Principal, Mrs Jenny Lendrum on Friday 11 October after the Senior School Prize Distribution.
