Methody Collegians took networking to new heights (quite literally!) on 20th February as alumni from across the generations gathered for an informal drinks evening at a buzzing London rooftop venue.

The informal event provided the perfect complement to the long-established London Dinner, which will take place this year at the RAF Club on 30th May.

With a new venue came plenty of new faces alongside familiar friends. From first jobs to well-established careers, Collegians living and working across London came together to make useful introductions, swap stories, revive old memories and, of course, enjoy a healthy dose of craic along the way.

The evening proved that the Methody network in the city is alive, thriving and never short of conversation. The evening was a clear reminder of the strong and enduring connections that Methody alumni continue to value, particularly among the significant number of Collegians living and working in and around London.

The atmosphere was relaxed, energetic and full of good humour, with many staying on until the wee small hours.

Events like this play an important role in maintaining the positive momentum behind our reinvigorated alumni organisation. They demonstrate the appetite for more informal gatherings that allow Collegians to connect, support one another, and strengthen the global Methody community.

We’d love to keep that momentum going. If you’re London-based and keen to give something back (or just fancy helping organise more great nights out!), why not consider stepping forward for nomination to the Methody Collegians Council this year? Your involvement will help strengthen our global reach and keep the Methody spirit thriving far beyond the school gates. CONTACT US for more information on how to get involved.

Keep an eye out for more events coming soon — if the February turnout was anything to go by, you won’t want to miss the next one!
