Step Forward and Get Involved – Join the Council of Methody Collegians
The Alumni Association of Methodist College Belfast — Methody Collegians — is growing rapidly. With an expanding global membership and an exciting calendar of events, we are now seeking enthusiastic volunteers to be nominated for election to the Council at our upcoming AGM in June.
This is a fantastic opportunity to reconnect with the Methody community, meet fellow alumni across generations and locations, and play a meaningful role in shaping the future of our association.
Our events programme continues to grow in both scale and ambition, and volunteers are at the heart of making it all happen. Whether your interests lie in organising a lunch or black-tie dinner, hosting informal drinks, helping to reconnect alumni from the “lost years” through membership campaigns, or supporting activities such as quizzes, choir events or sporting fixtures — there is a role for everyone.
We also welcome support behind the scenes. You might enjoy contributing to our social media presence, helping to market events, writing newsletters, or assisting with important administrative tasks such as maintaining the membership database. Every contribution, large or small, makes a real difference.
This work is carried out by volunteers. The friendships formed, the smiles shared and the success of our events make the effort truly worthwhile.
We recognise that many of our members are based outside Belfast, which is why Council meetings can be held online to ensure everyone has the opportunity to be fully involved.
